Ice Cream Shop Acrylic Sign
Nice to be able to make something more than just vinyl on acm.
This is the result of the questions I have been asking, built up from layers of acrylic.
10mm clear base with 3mm layers and 10mm lettering. had to build a solid frame on the fascia first to get it out around the fascia frame.

amazing how a relatively small sign on a shop front like that appears to work well and fits in with the surroundings.

My only gripe is the use of what looks like screw caps on the face. This isn’t just here, but most signs we see daily.
However, for some reason i think they are easy overlooked here due to the sign raised from the surface and the dimensional letters on the face. so well done!thanks for taking the time to post your work, look forward to seeing more of your stuff mate. :thumbup2:

Thanks guys, both customer & myself pleased. I know what you mean about screw caps Rob. I very rarely use them and usually countersink screws and cover with matching vinyl. However on this i wasn’t sure about countersinking the acrylic as it was the first time I’ve even drilled it and with the other 3D elements the crew caps somehow fit in with the rest of teh design.
