Looking forward to New Zealand, as the kids have not seen snow.

Working in 42 deg c heat today, it was the only thing keeping me going.

We are all very excited to be honest. The kids are old enough to be able to enjoy the experience too

Not too sure I’d be prepared to swap Jayne, but it was 28 deg c at midnight here last night, which is a bit warm even for me.

Could do with it cooling down just a little bit tho,

Congratulations Shane, it’s a great place. Went there a few years back. Lots of crazy dangerous things going on mind! 😮 While all around me were Paragliding, Bungy Jumping & Flying by Wire I went off to play Crazy Golf 😳 😀

It’s worth a trip to Milford Sound while you are there. If you haven’t been before that is.

I was working a few streets away from the hospital when they announced his death actually. Bit of a character tho, either loved him or hated him. I’d suggest his shareholders were in the latter.

Have not been to NZ for 30 years Brian, and then we just did the Rotarua thing. All I remember is the sulphur smell really.

My son is more of a putt putt tourist than a bungee tourist, so I think we may be limited to the non scary stuff. He’ll throw up at the thought of something scary. It will take me until march to convince him to fly :lol1:

I love my photography, so I suspect I’ll be boring everyone when I get back. 🙄 😮 😛

What fantastic luck good for you.

Exactly one year ago today I was boarding a flight to Melbourne where I spent 4 days before flying to Auckland, spent 4 weeks touring north and south island including 6 days in Queenstown and I can tell you the place is buzzing it has every thing for everyone it is also very very beautiful, fill your boots mate and have a great time. 😀 😀 😀

Nancy, the rest of the family are wanting to go much sooner, but we have to wait for my slow period. The holiday can be taken anytime next year basically. Pretty hard to convince them tho 😛

Also, my father has been told he needs a triple bypass early next year, so I don’t want to be away then either…

The wife has already been on the net checking out the attractions. I actually caught her last night checking the distance the shopping centres were away from the hotel…I suspect the credit card will get a thrashing, but I’ll worry about that when I get home…. 😉
