• I-Stock pricing

    nearly got caught with the pricing on i-stock.

    what i thought would be about 6 -10 credits was 40 so started looking again and there are quite a few at the higher rates.

    any thing similar out there please

    Yep, dreamstime for me too. Cheaper than a lot of the rest and superb selection.

    ive been using i-stock for the last three years and it is amazing how much it has gone up in price!!

    For photos try http://www.sxc.hu/ they are free, you must read someof the copyright terms though!!

    Noticed the pricing hike a while back and now mainly use http://en.fotolia.com/ as I get a discount through my web hosting service.

    I had to purchase an Image for a client that had been used on the web.

    Found it on Getty Images and used the talk to a human button.

    Told the guy I would search other libraries as other currencies may be cheaper, I told him it was way over priced and out of budget for the campaign is was to be used for.

    He asked me what was acceptable and slashed the price by 50% there and then and dropped it into my basket.

    Client was a happy bunny.
