    Same here Dewi

My heads spinning without the booze

I’ve just got XP after using 98 second edition for years

    98 second edition? Blissful
XP? Is that short for cross person (hot) 👿

I hate it when it wants to take over like some futuristic mind draining leech about to conquer the world

Its got lots of plusses but boy does it have a lot of bugs

Go to Black Viper’s web site and you can turn off all the bells and whistles you don’t need.

Once you get used to it you won’t go back it’s very robust.

I know XP is the future but I had less aggro from Win 2000.

Call me an old fuddy duddy (Dewi, you’re an old fuddy duddy 😉 ) but I think I’m going to stick with Windows 98. It may not have whistles, bells etc etc, but it does the job 😀

Course, eventually I suppose everyone will have to upgrade to be able to use new software 🙁

    Cheers, Dewi

SE is the best in my oponion – Microsoft know this as well, which is why they still keep supporting it so much ! XP seems to be aimed more at people with little experience of PC’s who will probably never want to alter any settings themselves.
