    Hi
I was thinking of crossgrading to signlab 8 vinyl. Currently i am using vinyl master pro.

In that software i have a vectorization tool which traces a bitmap fairly well.

Does signlab 8 vinyl have this feature or do you need the pro version to access this.

I am only at the level of working with cut vinyl at the moment, will there be any limitations with signlab vinyl?

    Many thanks for your help

    Liam

Yes Liam it does, it’s called AccuScan. You can find what features are in which package on the comparison chart here….

    Thanks Brian

It does appear to have the ACCUSCAN feature in signlab vinyl. I had already looked at that chart but wasn’t too sure what i was looking for as at the bottom of the ‘power tools’ section there is a vectorization wizard tool which it says signlab vinyl does not have. I assumed that was the tool i was looking for, so thanks for clearing that up for me.

Accuscan is the basic vectorisation tool, you also now get colour vectorisation with Signlab Vinyl. Previous version only had black & white vectorisation. You get pretty much everything you need fir Vinyl with the Vinyl version. Obviously with the option to upgrade to Vinyl Pro or Print & Cut in future if you need too.

Thanks for the info, that’s a good price. Definitely considering buying, as soon as i’ve payed off my cutter anyway!
