I am having problems importing .ai files. into flexi8.5v2
I am very new to the industry . I am having trouble importing some ai. files to flexi. I open the file into flexi and am able to adjust the sizing as required but when i go to cut/plot . the design shows as a light grey image which cannot be sent to the cutter. I have imported other files and they seem to be ok. but for some reason certain ai files wont work. Please help . Thanx

Are all the files you are importing vector files? Just because it is an AI file doesn’t mean that it is a vector image and you can only cut vector images on a plotter.
Might be an idea if you popped in the say hello forum and introduced yourself, you will find most people on the forum friendly but you will get more replies if people know a little about who they are helping.

Some files may not be in vector format, so they are not cuttable. Some ai files need to be unmasked.
Right click on the image and go down to unmask. Then separate the parts you want to cut.
