  • Humidity and Moisture – anything to worry about?

    Hi

I have to do some graphics for an indoor "rainforest" climate and was wondering if I was going to have any issues with humidity and moisture and any thing I should consider regarding materials and vinyls before going ahead with it?

I’ve heard people having problems in salons etc on windows but maybe as it’s being applied while there’s moisture already present where as I’ll be applying the prints to boards in the office and then taking to site to install?

    Any feedback will be appreciated

    Thanks

    Warren

if your applying off-site then you should be perfectly fine warren.
i do exactly the same thing for one of my customers with an indoor rainforest type setup. and has been ongoing for years. never had a single problem.

just be sure to dress properly for the install… its bloody hot as hell and there are ants and spiders all over your tools within seconds if left in the wrong spot. :lol1: :lol1:
you will come out scratching your head like crazy. 😉

from memory everything we have done have been laminated prints flood coated to composite board.

Thanks Rob, good to hear but just though probably best to just ask the question.

Luckily I won’t be fitting as I have a full time fitter 😉

Make sure you send him for malaria jabs first to avoid being sued for breaches of H&S at work act 😕
