I’m looking at getting rid of my silk system and investing in a wide-format printer.

Will be printing mainly on – for sale boards ( correx ).

Does anybody have any advice for me on the HP SCITEX FB750 reliability etc…

Seen a few on offer who state new print heads are required?

does anybody know the rough cost per head?

and also a good supplier where you would buy your spare parts and ink etc…

    Thanks in advance

Can’t help to much, but word of warning, Scitex system is now discontinued and parts becoming harder to get as approaching 10 years since launch, with R series taking there place.

The bare printheads will set you back between £1000 for a reconditioned unit, to £2000+ for a new unit if available.

Ive had mine for 9 years and has been so good. It is now up for sale as I am getting new 3200mm Platinum Q3XL in a months time.Heads were replaced about a year ago. The machine is in wonderful condition and prints great.
