HP L26500 LM Cartridge Missing (when it isn’t) – help please
My L26500 is insisting that 2 of my ink cartridges are missing. They aren’t. They still have plenty of ink in them. I have tried pulling them out/putting them back in. When I go into the ink cartridge menu it goes straight back to the error message. Have tried re-starting. Anyone else had these issues?

Clean the contacts on the cartridge.
Try another cart.
If it is a dodgy cart HP should replace it. -

I found the problem in the end. I took the left hand cover off and the bottom left grey retaining clip that holds the cartridge seats in for the bottom row of carts fell out as it had snapped in half. I’ve botched it up for now to get printing and will order new ones asap.

Turns out these small grey clips are only available as part of the ink tube system at £700 😮
Luckily Perfect Colours have helped me out with a couple off a second hand machine. Not sure what I’ll do when they snap though.
