    Hi Everyone,

Just wondered if I could ask for some advise.

We have bought a second hand HP Designjet 250C – A0 Colour Plotter. The primary reason why we bought this plotter was due to CAD work that we do for some of our clients (architectural).

However, I would like to use the plotter for perhaps the printing side of our business, and am wondering if this plotter could be used for creating printed vinyl signs, I have been told that this is all dependent on the type of Ink and the vinyl that you use.

Does anyone in this forum use a HP designjet 250C for producing printed vinyl, I am aware that the 5000 & 5500 is a common plotter, but does anyone use the lower end of scale plotters?

I would also appreciate advise on the type of ink and vinyl that I should be using for creating printed vinyl.

    Look forward to your advise

    Regards

    Silvio

As far as i am aware the HP inks with HP media’s are your only chance but i think you are on a sticky wicket.
