    I have found the following good in helping to identify fonts.
    Some are better than others.

    Download, Google Chrome – WHAT THE FONT EXTENSION
    Google chrome plugin to identify fonts on websites

    WHAT THE FONT
    Upload a picture and itgives you a best guess
    Its a bit hit and miss but worth a shot.

    Photoshop also has it in the type menu, it is getting better with every update
