Dunno, but I have seen drills with built in spirit levels. Can’t you stick a level on it somehow?

Andy….I’ve got lots of wee holes to drill and the wooden fascia is traditional and angles slightly towards the ground…right angle to the sloping fascia is what I am look for… I think 😀
    Cheers 😀

Yes, I saw one YEARS ago – that you could clamp a standard drill into and use as a drill press.

…or you could design something up along the line of a router base.

Spring loaded legs & a flat base.

No idea where you could find it though.

A simple bevel gauge set at the right angle would probably give you a good enough idea at what angle to hold the drill for each hole and you should be able to pick one up at any engineering agency or DIY place.

Get your local engineering shop to drill the correct size hole through a piece of 25mm bar stock 50-80 mm in length and use it as a guide?
or even a piece of plastic or wood would do if done in a drill press.

Ive used similar to drill holes prior to drilling and for drilling parallel holes in broken studs.

    Simples and cheap :lol1:

That’s how I do it… I have a little block with different sizes holes in it that I use as a guide.

I’m up a ladder with 200 holes to drill close to each other and the the fascia slopes slightly downwards….maybe worrying about it too much but the wee things that stick out need to be kinda’ parallel….Cheers
