How much would you charge for acm panels?
Posted by Erdy Cem on June 30, 2022 at 9:46 pmHi Guys, I’ve got my own pricing but just out of curiosity, how much would you charge for 2 off 900x2440mm and one 610x2000mm ACM panels with printed & laminated vinyl mounted on?
Cheers!

there are a few things to take into account but if there is no design work and it is just a hand over then about £200+vat

We did some 1000×2400 panels a few weeks back, £200+VAT each, printed and laminated.
To be honest the 610 panel wouldn’t be much cheaper, it’s still 2m of vinyl & lamiante, a few pence in ink, and 1/2 a sheet.
I know a friend rang me to ask what I’d charge on panels, and their customer was able to buy them for £70 each!

I would think about £600+vat for the lot.
it depends on your machine width and how you plan to do the job. if not done just right you can accumulate a fair bit of waste in your costs. -
I’d be charging that as a full panel. 300mm offcut is of no commercial value to me, so they’d be paying for it, along with the same linear mtr of print.
2440 x 1220 (or close to) would be £270+vat here. that’s for good quality .3mm skin composite, not cheap hoarding.
+design.
+ installation

Funnily enough I’ve been knocking boards out @ £290+VAT delivered recently, with no complaints.
I think there’s two types of customers and businesses – Those who buy & sell solely on price, and those who appreciate costs have increased and will pay for the quality and service.

This is all very interesting – my head still with old pricing from say 2010 era but now I see what people are calculating today with everything going up.

Hi all,
I’m not a sign maker, but here is my two cents worth:
From a financial point of view, all you guys who have offered a price could look at your gross profit percentage (that’s your last years total sales minus the cost of total materials as a percentage)
G.P % Calculation:
Divide your gross profit amount into your Total Sales amount and then multiply by 100 = G.P %
If everyone posted this percentage you could average it to give you an industry average for how much you could sell the ACM panels and have peace of mind that its industry wide! 🙂
The person asking the question can sleep easy knowing he’s not over-pricing and not under-pricing his job 🙂
In theory at least
