How much to charge for logo design?
Hi all,
I’ve recently been asked to design a logo for a customer and am not sure what to charge??
I’ve designed around 9 or 10 logo’s now over the past few years ranging from logos for friends to small – medium business branding. For these I’ve charged anywhere between £50 – £250.
The questions going round and round in my head are:
What should I charge?
Should I charge an hourly rate or 1 off charge?
How many logo variations should I give?I know allot of the above questions depend on the client (what size of business they have, budget, etc)
Would be great to know some of your thoughts 🙂
p.s. apologies if this is repetition as I’m sure this topic has been discussed before!

the 08/09 price it guide is £31p/hour
I would give them two options or you will only confuse them 😀

I can sit designing logo’s for hours so perhaps 2 options is a good idea
