gypsy, firs of all if the logo is in silver make sure the phone number is going to match, I did a job for a barbers, he had some text in gold but wanted me to add to it pain to match up unless you know which supplier he used. As for price if there is no text to be removed and its just a pho num, you will be there less than an hour, as a job I would charge £30 if it was not to far away, if its a mate, its up to you, is there any favors they can do you?Or just charge them £10-15, it depends on the prices in your area, hope this has been some help. Tony.

    thanks for the help……

i think £30 per hour + materials for small jobs like this sounds good…..

i have actually just got back , job done…

turns out it was above the door on the outside , and black..

only spent 15 mins there , 20 mins here ……

we do know them , as they run the post office also , our ebay shop need them on a daily basis…

but did a deal , £10 + i now have a leaflet holder full of leaflets on the post office counter…so not bad…..

only realized after i had ripped off the old vinyl numbers , and put the new ones up , that the only difference was 2 numbers swapped around….
wouldn’t have got away with swapping them round anyway , they crumbled away once i started…….

    cheers 4 the help…..

You should have stuck out for the tenner, plus a free haircut. 😀

    no chance…..

wife went there a few weeks ago ,made a right henup of it…

we live in a small village , the only shop here is that one , hair/come post office , run by the oldest folk around , and must have been cutting its regulars hair for years and years…

but there are a huge amount of self employed guys round here , vans and truck all over the place , so you never know , a leaflet or 2 may work….
