    Hey Guys!

As the topic suggest how many others are looking forward to Christmas?

We’ve had a super busy year and the second week of December starts to die down for us although there is always that one big job that roles in last minute just as we are all in holiday mode.

I haven’t had a holiday all year so I’m pretty much ready to get my slippers on and sit on the sofa and do nothing for a whiles although this year the wife has surprised me with a holiday to the Caribbean…

What’s everyone’s plan for Christmas…we going to pack up around the 20th I think and have a good old rest till new year.

I find it’s a great time to get some deep cleans done on machines and some TLC for all our kit, stuff that you do anyway but this time you can give the whole kit a clean, casing, exteriors etc etc…I’ve even know the lads to get out a bowl of hot water and washing up liquid and deep clean the cases till they look new.

Interesting to know what all my other sign board mates are up to??

Been another manic year for me too working 6/7 days a week. but always book 3 holidays a year, and am off to the caribbean too next weekend.
Coming back for Christmas Day is a first for me and will be my first Christmas in UK for 10 years!

Just got another contract for 40 vans so will be a very busy last week here!

We’re bobbing along nicely, lots of growth in the signage & vehicles side of things. I’ve not had a holiday this year, but taken a few long weekends away with another booked for the Mrs’s birthday.

We’re shutting down over xmas, and will be the first xmas the Mrs’s hasn’t had to work

Lot’s of things to reflect on from this year, a few tweaks and changes behind the scenes, and hit the road running in 2018.

I never look forward to Christmas and new year nowadays. Everything shuts down for at least a fortnight and slows down for the preceding two weeks. Then we have Tax bills to pay in January after a lean month so no wonder I’m miserable. And the weather doesn’t help!

But this year I’ve decided to make the best of it and we’re off to Australia for Christmas and the new year. Who knows, I may decide to stay :awkward:

I’m much the same, though the wife does have most of christmas off this year so maybe different!

We did Australia last year as a belated honeymoon, flew into Sydney at 11pm on christmas day (flew out lunchtime xmas eve!), then didn’t come back until the end of January, I’d do it again if we weren’t still paying for some of it!!!

Have a great time and make sure you hook up with Shane!!

We are always busy, yes Festive period slows down a bit but even if we do, we use it as a catch-up period for anything and everything outstanding.
We are actually very busy just now and no sign of it stopping either. However, for the past 4 years we decided to close down for 16 days over the festive period, really just to try make the most of it while we can. I have not had a holiday in 4 years at least. So this year I have decided to go to Tenerife for a couple of weeks. Leave Boxing day. I am looking forward to it and i am sure i will enjoy it, but i get bored very easily… even on holiday. :awkward: 😆

I am looking forward to 2018.
I have made a lot of changes throughout 2017 and feel i am running into 2018 better prepared than ever. I have lots happening and excited about my prospects and projects I am working on. I think my Holiday will give me a great start to the year, relaxed and focused.
