HOw long would you expect this van to take you?
Posted by Simon Polakof on August 21, 2010 at 4:15 pmHi!
I would like to hear your input on this on how long you would expect you and maybe another person to take you to mount this design on a Kangoo.
I was thinking of doing it in vinyl, sounds to me like it would be easier to fit.
What do you reckon?Catalin Dretcanu replied 13 years, 8 months ago 7 Members · 7 Replies -

I would allow about 2 hours to cut the vinyl weed it and mask it….Don’t forget you will also have to design this on the screen.
As for the lower blue on the van, i would generally get some blue cast vinyl from our supplier and wrap that piece.
If it was me I would allow around 6-8 from start to finish.

I forgot the most important part, the van is white and has to be wrapped in yellow first.[/b]

To do a complete wrap, thats what it is right? we would normally recommend a 2 day fitting, although it would probably take a little less, that way it gives you time to strip off any parts necessary and re-assemble in good time.
At least if you get it done in good time you can give the customer a call and say its ready early.
It always looks better for you to complete it early than it would be to be late…

2 guys no longer then 6 hours they are pretty easy, plastic trims come off quick as well.

full pieces cast yellow and some blue = very fast
the car is small and easy to apply on.
1 person maximum 6-7 hours for fitting.
