    Hi Guys n Gals

Got to quote for fitting only on the attached pdf,
there’s going to be 80 of them some Double Decker’s as well
but only the same amount of vinyl on the doubles.

how long would you say for fitting?

it will be a newly painted white bus so minimal cleaning i think

I’ve only ever done one bus before.

i was thinking 3-4 hours what are your thoughts/

    cheers

    Robert

I would say 2 men 3 hours but depends on how the graphics are supplied, and what material, there is quite a lot of cutting in, involved around windows and panels etc.
the first few will take longer but as you get into the rhythm then 6man hours is realistic, and would allow for the units not being presented on time etc, as no doubt you won’t turn up and the bus will be standing in position waiting for you!

are you supplying the graphics? i know you just want estmate on fitting time…
do you/they fit wet or dry?
    how close is the depot?
when you say newly painted, are you talking they will be fitted at coach builders and havent been on the road?
    how expereinced are your fitters?

    Hi Rob

the depot is only 7miles away
and company supplying the cut vinyl 30 miles away

from what i know about the buses they are a few years old going
through re-branding so will be newly re-sprayed

as for experience it will be me and a buddy who’s worked for me on and of for
a year or so, he helps me mostly with wraps.

i can spec the vinyl and AP-tape to a point.
