how does the graphtec compare to the stika?
Posted by Jim Clough on August 28, 2004 at 9:04 amHi All
On a recent visit to a supplier I was shown a new mini Graphtec cutter which took A4 size material. If I remember correctly it was around £400 Wonder how it compares to the Stika.
Cheers

are you sure its graphtec mate?
i havent heard of it and i have not long loaded their full range of plotters for them in our online shop. the smallest they do is 410mm wide and costs about £1000. 🙄i could be completely wrong of course 😕 even if i am, i hope that it is a better made/robust machine than the stika as i think these machines should never really be sold for a sign shop, more a large department store that uses lots of small signs for promotions etc

Not seen it either?
The smallest one we have on our price list is 410mm as Rob says. Bit of a weird size though so have never had an enquiry about one let alone sold one 😮

Hi
I’m fairly sure it was a Graphtec, they only showed me this just before we left ( Been to see other items) It was a cutter. it did have a bit of a toy look to it but was surprisingly heavier than it it looked.
Will contact them later today to confirm.
