  • how do you remove Sai Cloud Connect from a Mac?

Hi. A few months ago I downloaded some sign making software – I seem to recall it was a plotter driver from a reputable manufacturer.

    Thats all I remember.

It immediately loaded up something called Sai Cloud Connect, and it stuck a logo to the top of my screen.

I did not like the software so I deleted it, but I cannot make this logo disappear.

I have tried every method of program removal, but it relentlessly hangs on. This pesky piece of stickyware has proved impossible to remove.

It may be recording every move I make, or maybe its just an irritation, but my OCD is driving me mad just it being there!
Does anyone else here recognise it from some software they use?

Asking before I splash out millions on geek help.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

    😟😩🤬

Sai is Flexisign mate, you probably downloaded the software or one of its drivers, as you said.

Did you actually “uninstall it” or maybe just deleted the download zip file?

if it has been completely uninstalled, it might just be an orphaned cache image file. if browser-based software that should be easily removed by deleting your search history and clicking to include cache files.

    worth a shot anyway.

It’s part of Cutting Master. I would try something like AppCleaner. Open AppCleaner, do a search for SAi Cloud and Cutting Master, and drop anything you find onto the open AppCleaner window.

      Thanks Jamie.

I downloaded and tried app cleaner, it couldnt even see the program – or anything associated with it. No searches bring it up. I am flummoxed.

If you still have it, you could try rthe installer again. Sometimes they have uninstallers built in. Failing that, I would re-install it, then use AppCleaner to remove, instead of deleting or trashing.

Does anything happen when you click on the menu bar item?

If you just want the menu icon removing from the menu bar, hold the command key down, then click on the item in the menu bar, and drag it out into the desktop area.

Click on menu bar item..a window pops up to sign in or log in.

Go to the website, if you have a windows machine you get the choice to unsubscribe. If you have a mac, your out of luck.

Hold cmd key and drag it out – you get a circle with a slash through it as in NOPE CANT DO THAT!

          This thing is sticky as.

When you click on the menu bar item, on the pop up window, there are 3 bars at the top right. Does it give you an option to sign out? If it does, see if you can do the drag thingy then.

If not, I’d go the route re-installing, and removing with AppCleaner.

            Or burn the Mac. 😄

On checking my install of Cutting Master, it places an uninstaller in the root level folder of the software, in the applications folder.
