  • how do i use the repeat facility in corel12 please?

Posted by Ryan Fairweather on January 26, 2006 at 2:35 pm

just received the new version 12 from CorelDraw.

To get the knife symbol on version 8 i had to click via toolbars and application scripts.
then link Co Cut to the required symbol, this would then appear on coreldraw for me to cut from.

Any clues how to repeat the same via Corel 12 as i cannot even find an ‘application script’ section?

    thanks in advance

    Ryan 😀

no answers there im afraid! Why is everything so bloody long to modify when you buy new software 👿

found a lady who had cocut 11 and coreldraw 12, followed those instructions to no avail.

    any other suggestions?

Did this one not fix it?? What version of co.cut do u run?

download the latest CoCut service release from http://www.cocut.com.
Start the installation of the service release and select Modify.
In the next dialog select CoCut for CorelDRAW 12 under CoCut AutoExport and click on next.
After the installation has finished start CorelDRAW 12 and follow this steps to link the CoCut script with the CorelDRAW 12 toolbar:
    – Select the menu Tools/Adjustment
    – From the left-hand set of options select Workspace/Customize/Command
    – Click once in the File box on the right of the list of options, select Macros and drag CoCut12.CoCut… to the menubar of CorelDRAW 12.
    – Click OK in the Options dialog box

seen that, the problem is when you start the installation it takes you to the setup wizard and ‘modify’ does not even appear as an option.

unless im being daft that is and its simplier than that?

Many bolt ons for Corel are VBA. The gms files are found in a sub directory of Draw marked GMS – open that and see if there is anything looking like they are to do with cocut, if so you get to them in Draw from tools – visual basic – play. This is just a guess but there is other good stuff in there.

According to Cocut, there is no service update for cocut 9 so in order to use the version 12 Corel, i have to now also pay for Cocut version 12.

    What a crock! 😀

    nothing is ever simple eh?

still, new version looks like its good!
