    Hi Guys,

I’m designing some graphics for someone that is not in the shop (something I’ve not really done yet). I want to send them a picture by email first. Basically I have the template and have stretched a paint effect over the top of it but it a square. I can click Vinyl only on my computer to see what it’s like but how do I sent an image a a Vinyl Only Jpeg?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Hi Paul,

I don’t understand at all. What is a vinyl only key? Is it unique to your software? What software is it and what does this key do?

    Hi Peter,

Sorry i didn’t make it clear. Let me try again.

I am using Coral 12 and have a template of which I put a square Paint effect over the top of. If I go to view then select Vinyl only I can see exactly how it will look when cut (paint effect to shape of template). Basically I’m looking to send the customer a picture of this so they know exactly what there getting. How do I do this?

    Thanks for your help.

press shift, ‘prt scr’, open any paint type program, even corel photo, paste, and crop as required.

no probs, i use paint shop pro v7, brilliant capture mode, simply open it, press shift ‘c’, the window minimizes, select the page you want to copy, right click, and reg mark will appear, then left click and drag the box over the area you want to capture, it takes seconds from start to fiinish and you capture only what you want, so no need to crop later! you can find it on oldversion.com, or a 60day trial anyways!

because of that, i didn’t even know prt scr even existed for about 8yrs!

    Paul,
I’m glad you’ve got your answer but can you help me out? I’ve upgraded from Corel 12 to X3 and have no idea of what the Vinyl Only button is. You say it’s under View but I can’t see it not do I remember it in 12. Do you have some sort of add-in providing this?

I’ve no idea either but does powerclip have anything to do with it. I am not aware of any vinyl button unless it is a plugin of some description.

    Hi Guys.

I have just made a complete idiot of myself. 😳

The Vinyl only is on my other computer which is running GSP Composer. I though it was on Corel 12 as I have to convert it to Corel then open it up in Versaworks.

    Sorry Guys

    Paul
