Im running a Uniform Grenadier with Wasatch rip software and its putting down a lot of ink. How do I put less down, is there a setting somewhere?

Dave its easy to change the ink limits, but if you are using the correct profile for the media you should not have to,
but if you click on the "gear wheel" next the unit box, then image configurations, edit colour transforms
there is a ink limit setting over to the right.
if you change this be sure to click ok all the way out then save as a new profile,
such as "my media with lower ink levels"

Yep, you must test a fair bit as the less ink you put down the more washed out the colour will look, you need to practice until perfect

    Following. On from peters point.
What is your present max ink level set at.
A lot of old Roland levels were to high 350+
it should only be a problem on some cmyk bitmaps with blacks that add up to more than 300%.
If turned down to much then darker colours become washed. Out.
