Go into control panel – install new fonts.

Corel 12 also would have come with Font navigator. Assuming you have installed this, find this under the programme/corel section and run it. It will search your hardrive for fonts, you will also be able to install fonts from removeable disks. When you run it you will get 2 panes, left will fonts on your computer but not necessarily installed, the right will be installed fonts ready to use, simply dragging fonts from one pane to another will install or uninstal.
If you open a corel file and the font is on your computer but NOT installed you will be warned of this and given the option to automatically install, the file will now open, if the font is not on your computer to install then you have the option to substitute with another.
It is worth making sure that V12 is the latest build, find this under help – about Corel Draw it should be 12.0.0.536 if not go to the corel site and download and install the updates. V12 is a very strong programme although X3 does have more enhanced features that most users benefit from.
