  • how do i import a word document into signlab?

    Hi All

    I have a document thats in word just some writing and small image all in black and i want to open it in signlab how do i do this , i need the image more than text i can just re write that part.

    Hi Lee,

    Try zooming in as close as you can get and hit "Print Screen" button".

    Alt+Tab or select Signlab from the taskbar and paste into your workspace.

    Thats the way I woould do it.

    Thanks thats a really good trick a lot cleaner than scanning, Its crazy the little things you never knew about that make life so easy.
    Did it with alt+tab . Whats the print screen button?

    Its the button on your keyboard. At the top usually next to "Insert, Scroll Lock" etc…. Only thing is, it will grab the screen at 72dpi 😕

    It works if i drag and drop it into signlab but only does it in sections, using the the print screen and paste it turns out like a big mass of black mess.

    Might be an easier solution:

    1. Open the DOC file in Word.
    2. Select the image.
    3. Perform a copy operation (Edit >> Copy).
    4. In SignLab, perform a paste operation (Edit >> Paste).

    Alternatively, select the image, and then drag-and-drop into the SignLab window. Press [Ctrl] when doing this to create a copy.
