how do i get signlab 6 to work with pnc1000 cutter on xp?
Have recently upgraded computer to windows xp, the cutter appears to work for random intervals but then goes erratic. I use a parallel cable setup. Can anyone help, I have treid so many drivers its crazy. Have also contacted cadlink tech support but still waiting for response?

Are you using the PLOTTER SPOOLER?
If not I would certainly suggest that first.

I would give Davids idea a try first.
If that doesnt work, 2 suggestions.
1: Change your parallel port to SPP (standard parallel port)
Its probably on ECP or EPP and the old roland wants a standard 4 or 8 mhz parallel port.2: Get a serial cable , or a USB to serial cable and connect via Serial.
9600 baud is 9600 baud no matter what the OS.frank at cadlink
