How do I get a fill from Signlab in to Corel?

I have designed a bus. card using Signlab and want to send as a Corel file to printers. When I import to Corel (as Eps, the fill is missing).

    Can anyone advise?

Does anyone send to printers (That’s the commercial printers) direct from Signlab, and if so in what format?

    Cheers

    Dave

The last job I did for printing I did in Signlab
    Convert fonts to graphics
    Then saved as an eps
They had no problem opening it

Ive just designed something in Flexi sign with a gradient fill and some solid fill in it, when I came to take it into Illustrator I ended up having to import it in sections as illustrator wouldnt open it in one go even though I had exported it as an ai file. I do a fair bit of business card and leaflet printing (usually as an offshoot from doing the signs for someone) and I always try to send my printer an illustrator file as they have no problem opening the files………………doesnt solve your problem, I just thought Id tell you about it! :lol1:

Just tried exporting two different fills from flexi into Corel, ai file, and both fills came in fine, isnt there a choice to export as an ai from Signlab?

I know Signlab has its problems like any other package, I bought a signlab package and hated it, kept crashing and would stop half way through printing for no reason, swapped to Flexi and love it.
Have also used Gerber software, which is good and signus which is horrid.

Had the same problem as you Dave!

For some reason the fills dont export do they?

I, like you do most of my designing in Signlab so what i did was got to know Corel better and imported the Signlab .ai or .eps file into that and added the fills there. CorelDraw, i found, was far more superior in terms of adding fills, etc and the types and styles available are greater too.

The printer i use is a Corel user too.
