Is it possible to edit versaworks profile settings for perfcut pressure and also cut sheet after printing/cutting, i want to set these so i dont have to change it every time i print. The profile i want to edit is for metamark md5, cannot see how to do it.

Going from memory here mate but I don’t think you can unless you want to make either A or B Queue a default of this vinyl.

You might be better off having a file near your desk with the vinyl and tested settings printed on a page. This is what I’ve tried to do (but I keep forgetting to do it) 😉

Another way is to do a test strip and go to the MARK tab, Job property Label and print one off for your job bag.

thanks for reply, is similar to what i thought, is not really a problem, other than i keep forgetting to set the perf cut pressure on each job :lol1:

Pretty sure you do it via Media explorer. I am sure that was what we were shown. Then just save the profile for that job but not as MD5 if that makes sense.

    Cheers

Gary is right. You do it in media explorer.

But a better way is to use the presets on the machine. So you can set calibration etc for the media your using when you load it. Just load the preset before your setup the roll.

Jason i see that, but i think you can only set contour cut, it is the perf cut that i want to change, cannot find the setting anywhere 🙂
