how do i create this logo in photoshop?
hi all in need of some help
i need to recreate this jpeg in to a better file for print now i have had many goes and im nearly therei just cant get it quite right
im having problems with the way the lighting effect has been created
i have many effects but cant get it to look the samei will post the ai of the man and the text which i used the place command after i had made the background and then moved it about
if any one has the time to do this im happy to sort out a drinkthanks rich

Hi Richard
Don’t have time to tray this but I’d do it this way.
In Flexi (or whatever) I’d draw a thin line and step/rotate it from one end with 100’s over a 90 degree turn.
Save it as a JPG then import as a new layer over the welder in P’shop. The I’d apply a reveal all layer mask to this layer and add a radial gradient from the bottom left outwards so it fades out.
The flatten the whole image and add a final emboss layer effect for the overall domed finish

how about this idea if i post this next one up one here can any of you guys that print have a look and see what sort of size this could be printed at so it still looks goodthanks very much rich

According to my reconning from the image posted best.png you can resample it to 300dpi and that will give you 29.57cm x 29.78cm at 3492 x 3517 pixels.
I have uploaded to my server a Zipped file containing your original image resampled to 300dpi and a 1.5 times enlargement at 300dpi which will give you 44.35cm x 44.67cm at 5238 x 5276 pixels.I have worked this based on printing it to paper on offset presses.
