  • How do I create these outer circle swooches?

    as in the title i would like to recreate the outer yellow bits on the pics that look like a paint brush effect sort of thing, I have flexi, illustrator and corel to use.

    i downloaded a brush to do that in photoshop john im trying to find it for you 😀

    In illustrator make a circle. Go to the brush drop down just beside the stroke size. Use an artist or chalk brush. Change the color to a yellow and change the stroke size. Then if you want to add another color quick just copy the circle and past on top. Then rotate the new circle a bit (hold the arrow just outside the corner of the selected box and this will give the rotate arms, then change that circles color by a shade. Make sure fill is off so the photo can be placed inside.

    There are a large amount of free brushes, actions, etc… on the Adobe Exchange site. You have to join (free) to download anything. You should be able to find something to suite your needs if the exact brush you’re looking for isn’t already in Illustrator.
