I know its really boring but if you have a look in your flexi manual it explains all about off set and how to set it. The manual is actually very good for flexi.

Why bother? Why not just change it on your cutter?

    hi john,

I have a Creation Pcut630 and I haven’t seen anything on the menu which mentions Blade Offset?

    cheers

Sorry Sam, I don’t know your machine so I can’t offer any specific guidance, but every cutter I have ever owned had had the blade offset adjustable somewhere in the menus.

I would have thought it essential as the cutter manufacturers don’t know what their machines are going to be driven by. It should be possible to drive one without a pc at all!

dont know about pcut machines but i have used a refine its a cheap plotter as well, you could not change the offset. I would think you will have to try differrent blades insted.

In ‘production manager’ (Flexisign’s cutting facility) there is a facility to change the settings of your chosen plotter. I have a cheapo Chinese plotter and find it necessary to change the offset now and again. Try going to ‘setup properties’ in production manager and then the ‘cut’ tab, and the ‘knife offset’ alteration should be possible from there. The smallest measurement alteration makes such a difference so small steps are needed.

    Hope this helps
