how do i apply vinyl graphics onto brass?

Yea i would try a two pack clear laquer (as they paint onto cars) i know it adheres to bare ally and doesnt come off, just make sure you prep the panel using panel wipe b4 painting, failing that, what about putting the vynil to the panel then applying an acrylic or 2pk laquer…….

and use a low tak app tape which i guess youve done anyway

i’m not totally sure,

one of the lads in the workshop has a deal going with "marcell guest" but I don’t know which one it is he uses.

Can you suggest anything?

PS I got a flyer through the door today advertising a vinyl with 163 colour choices but I can’t think who makes it, does it ring any bells with you?

Excellent Quality Paint i may add !!!! and they have a bloody good technical department who will probably be able to advise you better than me !!!

Although i dont get my paint from them i always try to use a good quality one, it may be worth trying to get hold of a litre of PPG delfleet, a 2pc isocyanacrilate paint used for commercial vehicles, its tough stuff but needs to be oven cured really although it will go off without

As For the Vinyl……..I hate the stuff, Know nothing about it, But still have to use it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We Use Avery vinyl but we dont pay that fekin much for it, and from cox as well !!!!!!

it was the 900 series, is that what you use. If you don’t mind me asking how much do you pay?

I get all of our stuff from vinyl logistics, intercoat 9600 series, 610mm, £1.40 a metre 😆
