I am trying to make my own graphics disc of some original art what is the easiest way to vector them?I have corel draw 9,Illustrator or flexi, Now how can some of these people on ebay sell some of these disc’s there sellin, almost every one has either Roland or Aurora art on them, this can’t be legal.I bought a few Swapmeet discs only to find alot of what i allredy have,Anyways could I put all the logo’s on my disc if I put a disclamer saying property of owner, I’ll be putting a auto sign pricing page, some sign brocures, sign invoices, clip art, fonts even plans to make yer own pre masker etc. What do you think would help signguys out? Maybe Mike or Brian can answer some of these q’s there pretty smart at the software thing. Thanx for readin this.

    Hiya Madddartist.
You can scan in your artwork then use Coreltrace (you will have that with Corel9) to trace it – it will convert to vector for you – just muck about with the settings till you find one to suit.
    All the best – Paul

No need to apologise for not having a use for the Beelines cd’s Lorraine. Lots of people say the same as you, but we also have lots of people that use them all the time. You are right that they are quite expensive. If you have the right work it doesn’t take too long to get your moneys worth though. To be honest we don’t sell very many of them, I know in North America there is a company that sells literally hundreds of them though. We have asked the Danish company that do the cd’s for something a little more serious as far as trades peaople & stuff is concerned. All the images are drawn by their own artists who must be very tallented. It is something they told us they were going to look into doing. Hopefully they will do something soon 🙂

O ya I’m making a disc so I can drink pints and goto bingo,Just jokin! If people have to know why i’m making my own graphics disc, its to try to send my wife and son to a convention down in the states about his condition.I didn’t think there’s a problem with that.I did have a problem when I asked people to send me an original vector they did,a few good people sent me a couple a few just couldn’t beleive I asked.I’m slowly doing all the artwork myself. Now ya wanna tell me how to vectorize with flexi 6.5?Or is it easier in Corel Draw 9? Thanx for all the replies!
