I’m surprised that Corel couldn’t do that anyway. 🙄

I’m sure they could John, I suspect the macro only automates a carriage return after each letter. Its a minor thing compared to some of the more advanced featured Draw has.

Just as a side note if you use macros you can easily assign an icon or make your own for that macro and drag it onto you toolbar for one click access to it. Anybody not sure how to do it, post here and I’ll go through it on another thread.

Probably. But it would also need to centre justify the text, otherwise it would look horribly misaligned.

The reason I was surprised is that Illustrator has had that function as far back as I can remember, about 1988. I’ve probably only ever used it twice, but it’s always just sat there in the tool bar and I’m used to it being there. It never crossed my mind that other programmes couldn’t do it.

Just another case of the best drawing package being the one that you’re used to I suppose. 😀

Thanks Alan, for those who are not sure how to do it, there is a fantastic downloadable video on Macromonster. Just look at the nav bar on the left hand side……..

I guess so John, I have the same thoughts when Illustrator can’t do multipage without a third party plugin, something Draw has been doing for as long as I can remember.
Incidentally when this macro is used you have all the text editing functions including centre, justify left/right etc.

Graeme, hadn’t seen that, saves me job.
