    Hi all,

I’ve just produced two of these A1 signs for a friend who kindly allows me to experiment with new ideas – she’s an —> (angel)

I know, I can hear you all saying ‘brush script’ and ‘kerning’ please be gentle!! :lol1:

There is a reason – they signs are to be placed on easels at fashion shows so as the masses leave the show the lights from the catwalk will produce an amazing array of colours (rainbow) so the text has to be easily readable and really any feedback would be appreciated.

The vinyl is Hexis ‘Bright Overall’ printed with a versacamm mounted on 6mm fibre board. The magnolia flower is a greyscale image and the text dark blue, but the effect is unreal. As you can see the flower actually looks like a hologram with text floating above it. The depth of the image is stunning.

We have agreed a price for the two signs which pays for the time and effort involved plus a few beers, but what would you guys charge for a job like this?

I look forward to any comments or feedback – thanks for looking.

    Regards,
    Mark

    That looks fantastic Mark

It’s a shame the holographic vinyl seems to have a slight tiling effect.

I’ve used this stuff a lot in the past mainly for small stuff because of this
