    Can you not just get regular acrylic flat cuts and cover them in holo vinyl? Haven’t done this myself with holo vinyl but plenty with regular vinyl so they have a contrasting edge colour to the letter face.

    There are loads of posts around with supplier details for holo vinyl

    cheers macky….i did think of this but the customer got a bad deal with her last sign……someone sold her a sign for external with gold chrome lettering and alas it didnt last too long before the text was invisible…..

    i dont want to do it and find the vynil comes off the lettering

    any one else?

    Just a thought, I don’t know what the life is on holographic, but if you are concerned, could you not laminate the vinyl?

    I used Gerber Holographic on my truck once.
    it looked great at first….then in about a year…p o o f! invisible in spots.
    Be sure to check that the vinyl is for exterior use.

    this is the reason i want to find the steel (or whatever it is) withe the effect in it rather than just vynil applied
