    Hello all is there such a thing as high temperature vinyl as used on brake calipers and such if so where can i get some from

    I don’t think there is such a thing for normal commercial use. I have come across a military grade but that is in very limited colours e.g green and black (I think) but is not widely available. As far as I am aware the stuff you see on calipers is standard vinyl being passed off as high temp 🙄 🙄

    most calipers will never reach high enough temps to do any damage to the vinyl
    a good quality cast will withstand as high as the boy racers will ever get to, before the brake fluid boils!
    it they want vinyl on the calipers, they are only doing it for show, and to pass off non original parts, so a copyright issue is usually involved.
    and the question is, by doing a few small stickers, is it really worth getting involved in it all?

    At the end of the day, sell them what they want and tell them the performance will vary and you offer no gaurantee.
    if its something you want to sell in volume ide think a decent cast vinyl will do the trick.
