Hi vis & vinyls
I usually sub all my hi vis garments but I’ve just been asked for a load of blue vests with white text for a racecourse. Apparently the hi vis yellow & orange vests can distract the horses and greens don’t distract them enough 😉 so it’s gotta be blue
Anyway I’m not to sure if the standard xpres super flex is good enough for the job because I’ve seen loads of workies in the past with high vis jackets & vests and half the print missing or hanging off (not mine) Anyone any recommendations for vinyl to avoid this?

Hi………..I have always used Cotton Flex from either Merlin or Doro Tapes – never had a problem with letters coming off. Hope that helps

hi vis vests are usually 100% polyester, so i would just be certain that the garment vinyl is suitable before pressing.

I dont know much about it but I do know that there is a special vinyl for printing onto poly. Somewhere in its structure there is a layer which stops the colour of the garment sublimating out through the vinyl and changing its colour. Its used on Polyester football kits.

I dye sub all mine, its way easier, but if I have to use superflex as mentioned above, or nylo flex both from xpres.
