Hi from Australia
Posted by Robyn Mann on February 3, 2011 at 5:16 pmHowdy all!
I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself first and foremost.
I guess I’ve been working with wide format digital print and vinyl cutters for about 4 or 5 years now, and the main thing that I have learned in that time, is that there is an absolute truckload that I don’t know!
I am excited to find such an active place like this!
Perhaps this is just a reflection of my people skills, but I have found networking on a local level very hard to do. At least when it comes to help and support etc.
Anyways!
It’s great to be here 🙂Robyn

Oh!! How crazy!
No, thankfully I am from West Australia so far far away.
Poor Queensland, first floods then cyclones!
I don’t think I had any sleep last night, I was glued to my computer. People over there were actually using social networking sites all night reporting their experiences, a few even had web cams going for a while!
It was heartbreaking. But of course it could have been so much worse with no loss of life so far.
Nice to meet you Lynn 🙂

Hi Robyn,
Welcome to our community. I’m in Queensland (Logan City – between Brisbane and the Gold Coast). We missed the major flooding, although the low lying areas here went under too. No houses were lost in the area though.
I was born in WA, went to woodlands public school in the ’60’s, and spent my early childhood there until my family moved to NSW in ’69. Been in Queensland since ’88.
Now that we have that out of the way, welcome again 🙂 Lots of aussie here too.

Hi Robyn, welcome to the forum. Glad to hear I am not the only one who seems to lack networking skills 😳
