Hi all.

I’m Russell from Totnes, Devon.

Just wanted to say hi and feel very lucky to have stumbled over you guys on the net – already picked up some great tips / ideas. Also a big thanks to Rob who activated my account at sometime past midnight the other night! 😮

Without boring you all, I purchased an Epilog laser engraver last year and engrave a small range of products/gifts which we sell via Google and eBay.

I am currentley looking to use the laser machine in conjuction with other sign-making equipment to produce small simple signs – wooden, slate, acrylic etc..
The main and only problem is I have no idea at all about making signs. I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the direction of “Sign making for begginers” – may it be a book, www or part time courses.

Without being cheeky on my first post (sorry if this is going on) does anyone know where I could find out more suggestions/applications for our laser engraver as it lies unused for more than half of the working day.

Cant help with the laser engraving either …… but perhaps if you make a post of your queries in the “router/engraving” forum you may get a bit more luck?

Hi mate, I am from australia and unfortunately know nothing about Laser Engraving, but Rodney Gold on these boards is a full bottle, I think he has three laser engravers. (?)

I am sure he’d give you some helpful hints if you ask.
