Hi everyone
Posted by Scott Evans on February 28, 2006 at 8:50 amHi, just became a member yesterday (27th Feb). I stumbled across this site and I honestly think itβs a great community since I didn’t think I would find somewhere like this for general help and to discuss the trade.
Well my quick into is that my partner and I are just setting up our new business, it will be launched in approx 2 weeks and at present we have our half finished website, it should be completed this week.
I look forward to discussing many different aspects of the trade in the times ahead and hope you find us of interest
Best regards
Scott

Hi, well I’ve taken heed of Daves advice and changed me piccie, you should be able to see a small bit of the wall behind me I painted for my daughters nusery, actually I just spent last night painting it out because I’ve just bought a new house, I felt gutted, it was like painting my own Mona Lisa out lol!

Hi Scott,
Welcome!
It’s a shame you had to paint over that. I am always worried about painting directly to walls. Next time maybe use some 4’x8′ pieces of sintra (Forex I think you guys call it)?

Hi Scott
Welcome to the boards π
You must be heart broken about the mural … but at least with the new house and your daughters new room you can let your artistic talent flow again? π

Hi, thanks for the welcome
I was really gutted to paint the wall out, I painted it from corner to corner with Disneys Winnie the Pooh characters, Teletubbies and Fimbles because I wanted a unisex wall since my wife and I did not know the sex of the baby. It took me about a week to paint because I only had the night times to paint it. What I wanted to do was wall paper over it and perhaps in years to come a new tenant may find it to their surprise but then I thought after x amount of years the paint would only come away with the wall paper when it was removed so it has to be wiped unfortunately. Oh well, new house, new wall and this time I think I’ll paint it in the Disneys Princess theme and have snow white and the Seven dwarfs coming from the Disney castle, have Cinderalla riding by with on the Pumkin carriage and the prince kissing Sleeping beauty as the three fairy Godmothers fly around.
Thanks for the welcome
Cheers
Scott
