Hi all, I just thought I’d introduce myself before I make a complete fool of myself on the forums.

I am the MD of of a smallish signs/graphics company down in Surrey, as a company we have been trading for nearly 4 years now, but I personally have been in the game for 20 years and my business partner has been in the game for 30 years, so between us we can cope with most things those pesky customers can throw at us.

btw most people call me Gee or Innocent.

    see you around

most of the time its high quality vinyl work, but occasionally we get to do some traditional writing / gilding stuff but theres not much call for it these days, and the bread & butter builders boards & vehicles

Our premises are 2 10m x 7m connected units and a seperate 15m x 6m unit (mainly for storage and painting)

we mainly run spandex software (omega and advantage) but we have just got signlab to have a play with, corel draw 10, photoshop amongst others, but my favorite is 3dsmax (a 3d modeling & animation package, for those that don’t know) that I use for producing CGI’s for some of our bigger builders and mock ups for design ideas.

We have an Edge 2 with the envision 380 plotter and a 1220 fastrack plotter but we’re seriously considering chopping in the 1220 and the Edge for a Mimaki JV3 and 1530 plotter (anyone here got 1 ?)

as far asI know the capital of Peru is Llama (or something like that ) 😆

thanks for the welcome everyone, I’m sure you’ll be able to show me some new ways of doing things.
