Not sure if this will be any use to you but i use it.

Sometimes when i’m weeding light coloured vinyl i find it hard to see the cut lines…my eyes are not what they used to be 😮

Solution…… builders chalk….the stuff they use with a bit of string to make a line.

I put a tiny bit on my finger and then gently wipe over the face of the vinyl…..lo and behold the cut lines stand out like…..well blue lines

nice and easy on the eyes and easier to weed…

Right i’m now gonna get the video cam out and do a 4 hr demo….

your tip is a good one, but one i have seen in the past.
something ideal for this would be one of those old school teachers black board wipes. once over it and you can see in the dark as it were 😉

On a similar note….. once we’ve applied application tape to white vinyl, we rub over it with a crayon (bit like brass rubbing), not sure if this one has been posted before, if so, sorry for the duplication!

Well, I can’t be alone, but trying to see white (or even worse etched) vinyl text or logo’s once the application tape has been applied is near on impossible, correct me if I’m wrong (and I’ll visit the Opticians!!).

Yes Lynn, we primarily use MacTac, and their white (and etched) all come with a white backing paper, so the crayon idea works a treat!!

Come to think of it, even the MacSoft white banner vinyl comes with a white backing paper!

    Here’s another great tip … (-)

The ‘el cheapo’ plastic squeegees from Grafityp (£3 for 10) are great for chopping up lettuce!

The plastic blade chops through them effortlessly and prevents the lettuce from browning.

They are a must for every kitchen 😮
