Help with .wps file
Good morning all. 😀
I have been presented with a .wps file which according to filext.com is a Microsoft Works file but it won’t open in anything I’ve got. Not even Word, although me using a Mac version might not be helping me there.
Would any kind soul be able to open it and save it as something more useful for me please?
It is a 2.4Mb file.

John I could be completely wrong but this link might help …. it gives you a link to a free download for a prog that will open word perfect files?????

I just had a look at it and OpenOffice is a five hour download!!!!!
If I can’t find another solution beforehand I will set it going tomorrow morning when I am not using my computers.

Hi Jonh, i’ve just double checked and Microsoft Word 2003 (Don’t know version on Mac), does opens *.wps files, u just have to set it before opening
\File\Open – and then on the drop down menu set it to open Works 2000 or Works 4.0.
I think it’s the easyest solution, if u still can’t solve the problem just post here your email and i’ll send u a reply, soo u can send the file to me, and i’ll give it a try. Confused?! 🙂
