    Hi everyone
We designed a new logo for a local bakery last month. Part of it consisted of a complex series of fades and highlights made in photoshop, which was saved as a TIFF then taken into Illustrator, a clipping mask made, an outline was added, and some additional lettering.
The full sized TIFF image had a resolution of 300 per inch, and the vectors obviously had infinite resolution.
I put the finished file into versaworks, and printed off a portion of it as a test. Oddly, the resolution of the photoshopped portion came out very low, with giant pixels about a millimeter across. The vector portion came out perfectly. I cannot get this to print correctly. I have spent some hours on this to no avail.
Does anyone know what is going on here?
Windows xp, Illustrator 10, Roland sp540v, Latest versaworks.

I had a similar issue with my versacam recently. All I done was deleted all files and then resent everything back down to the printer. Problem resolved. Don’t know if that would work for you though.

Mike, you might have a point there – there are lots of large files sitting in versaworks.
It is night time here…tomorrow I will try deleting everything and re-sending the file. Ill let you know how it goes.
    Simon.

Mike – you are absolutely right. I deleted the list of jobs lined up on versaworks, did a test print, and it came out perfect.
    Thanks for your help.

    Simon.
