well the whole thing can be done in photoshop, looks like bevel, outline and shadow settings to me.

because of the drop shadow its not print and cut you need to print the lot.
you can overcome the x3 bevel print problem by exporting as a jpeg or tiff

i haven’t got photo shop 🙁
if i use corel and the bevel how do i put fade on the front
why can’t i print the lettering and cut out -
because of the faded shadow where are you going to cut it.
i have put a in line contour over the top to give a fade or better control over the output colour.

i have used corel draw for over ten years… i wont rule out that it cannot be done, it will be a pig to do and print correctly.
I been on the arnold clark website, seems like an established motor company with a brand design behind it, why dont just ask for the hi-res artwork or scan something in at hi-res? i would not attempt to recreate it as it wont be the same.

i doesn’t need a drop shadow
but the yellow beveled letters have a fading from dark gray to nothing starting at the top and working down -
the manager of the site doesn’t want to go through head office as it will take longer to get his sign, he would have to purchase it through the marketing dept and would probably pay twice as much so i cannot contact them to get the art work

by the time you have spent recreating the logo AND not getting it right, then facing a lawsuit for copyright theft, the cost of buying the artwork from the head office will pale into insignificance. Dont fall into the trap of making the job cheaper for a penny pinching client at your own expense
