  • help with an A4 stainless steel supplier please?

    Posted by Kate and Danny on July 13, 2007 at 9:12 am

    Hi

    I am trying to find a supplier of pre-cut stainless steel at A4 size, an off the shelf item really and only need a couple of pieces at present. Had no joy sourcing it locally, wanted to see if anyone had any details of a company that would post.

    Have tried Mastergrave but they don’t do stainless steel.

    Thanks for any help,

    Kate

    i would try a stainless steel fabricator they will have off-cuts that size.
    i have one next door but they are closed till tuesday and not the most helpful. 😕 if you go to suppliers i doubt you will get anything smaller than full/half sheet size.

    I have an A4 piece of stainless you can have, the "shiny" side is a bit scuffed but the Brushed finish side is fine,
    Lynn pm’d you last time you asked!
    PM your addy and I will post it, if its what you need, I can get some more off cuts for you next week;

    Kate,
    Look up the section ‘Sheet Metal Work’ in your local yellow pages, you’ll find someone in there who works with stainless who will have an offcut.
    From memory a 1220 x 2440 x 2mm brushed finish is about £100.00 inc vat
