I forget the name of the company we bought ours from. We haven’t sold these types of letters in a long time. From memory, the quality declined from various manufacturers competing against each other. Like most things in our trade, it is a case of spitting them out faster and cheaper!
I think the initial ones were vacuum-formed acrylic and had good colour stability and gloss finish. But i remember seeing more and more done in Foamex type material which looked cheap and red faded to bubble gum pink in no time. The first time I saw a sign like that I thought it was a colour blended finish to the letter, but when I got up close to take the sign down, it was the top half of the letters had badly bleached and the other section was still a strong colour. as soon as I tried to remove the letter from the locators it shattered. cheap crap!
anyway, I’m not helping matters with my rant. Nor can I remember the sources I used in the past. ill come back to you on this if I remember. 🤣🤔

    Thanks Fred…

Accent and Signtrade are two of the companies we used in the past. I could not for the life of me remember the names! 😃👍

We actually stopped using Accent Signs after they completely forgot to process an order we gave them. “we accept that shit happens” but their MD in a very arrogant manner, then blamed us for being “unprofessional” when we chased up the order 14 days later! 🤔
Needless to say, we moved on from them! It is a pity because their product was of decent quality.
