I’m struggling with this pdf file. I can open and view it fine but when I save it as an eps it goes funny.
All I need from this is the scottie dog logo 😕 and the text that reads ‘Clear Run Agility’. The rest I don’t need as I already have that part fine.
I want to import this into Signlab so a cdl file would be perfect. Alternatively ai, eps or an X3 file would be OK too..
When I try this the tartan disappears and the outline on the text also disappears ……….

    🙁 nope

I can reproduce the Clear Run Agility part ……… but the dog is a major problem. He’s all over the place when I try to import it.
There are layers in him ……….. There is a large tartan bit running behind it with black boxes over the top. Now if I can get it into Signlab I can clip it to suit leaving just the tartan muzzle. But that’s what I can’t seem to manage …….. getting him into Signlab looking like that. The tartan disappears.

Don’t know if this is any help it’s in X3. The tartan appears to be a bitmap – I would just draw your own in X3

the tartan is a bitmap. But if I can get it into signlab then I can clip it to the correct shape. But it’s not importing.

I can import this into Corel and Adobe fine ……….. but I just need the dog to import in Signlab 🙁

    Hi Marcella

I tried in CS3 but there is something well weird happening there, the tartan is a file from a podcast 😕 image and somehow pasted there.

    sorry 😥

    Right here’s what I’m getting now………….

when I try to clip the tartan shape I get an error saying ‘cannot clip a clipped object. Weld the 2 clipping paths together’. 😕

😕 ………… I know. I’ve asked him to give me it as I need it ………. but he can’t do it!!!!!

Regardless of what I try with it I cannot get the shape needed. The tartanpodcast bit remains.

    I hate designers ……………. 👿

    today is a sh1te day! This and an L200 that no outline exists for ………… I’ve had enough. 😥 😥 😥 😥 😥

It’s the way it’s constructed – If you delete bits in the PDF the tartan is not cropped it’s just covered up by black objects.

I know ………… all I want to do is clip it to the required shape and get rid of all the black boxes.
