I’m having my Jaguar S-Type repaired and the head of the service department has gone out of his way to take good care of me and the cat. I’m returning the good service with a new desk name sign. I’m just having trouble picking the right one.

The top one is the standard Jaguar logo. The Middle one is a rigged one, and the bottom one closely matches this specific dealers current version of the logo (modified by me to make it look better). Any input would be helpful. These will be output to a hi resolution digital printer. Insert size is 60mm(h) x 215mm(w).

Also anybody have a good PMS color for the green? I just used a screen capture for it.

    As usual thanks in advance!

Simon I prefer the middle one, but I would loose the line at the bottom and central the whole thing, don’t have a reference for the green but it is usually british racing green, quite dark.

    Thanks Lynn for the input!

I did look up the British Racing Green in a Google but all I can find mostly are RGB and Hex colors. One place calls out PMS 5535 which looks like it matches pretty close the RGB capture that I have.

How about these? I made one with a smaller gray detail line and one without.

Simon I prefer the top one with the smaller paler line. I can’t give you a clue about the green colour for print but maybe some can.

Thanks again. Certainly if anyone else can supply more info that would be helpful. I might also just print a few different ones out and let him put in whichever one he likes. It’s a surprise to him anyway, so no feedback from him really until I give it to him. They’re small enough to do a few inserts with no bother. It’s a one off thing anyway.

You can’t really tell from the drawing, but this sign system has a curved face. I just though I’d add that info.

I don’t have any reason for this Simon but I would prefer the logo on the left followed by his name. I quite like the line along the bottom.

I welcome any and all points of view. How’s this Harry?

I like any of the first three, in fact I can’t choose.
But I don’t like the one with the jaguar thingy on the left.
    😀
I thought you Southern folks said Hot Damn or Boy Howdy.

You’re right Jill, both of those too!

"Lord have mercy!" is another popular one.
